The absolute highlight of our beer range. Its incredible aroma unfolds at a drinking temperature of 9-10 degrees Celsius. This Doppelbock smells of banana and apricot and is a must-have for any evening by the fireplace. Aretinus is the first beer in our Master Brewer Edition.

A hazy orange brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of dried fruits, strong caramelized wheat malt. Taste of raisins, caramel, strong dark malt, dried fruits.

Bottle picked up from Degenhart Getrankemarkt, Deggendorf and consumed at home Saturday 29th March 2025 listening to Eggy - From Time to Time, cooking Mushroom and Rice Stuffed Peppers in a Sour Cream Sauce. Pours hazy chestnut in colour with a light beige head. Tangy fruity edge there's a tiny tinge of sour fruit, but otherwise banana and a little toffee in the background. Soft mouthfeel, classy and warming, this is a very good addition to the Aldersbach range.

Kam im Dezember 2024 neu ins Programm. Tiefdunkles Rotbraun mit leichter Trübung im Glas. Bräunlicher, cremiger und sehr stabiler Schaum. Geruch zunächst intensive Noten von Trockenobst, Eiswein und Likörnoten kommen etwas später durch. Beim Trinken haben wir wieder Trockenobst, Dunkelmalz (ohne große Röstnoten), Spuren von Sherry, Likör, Karamell und Schokolade. Nach ein paar Schlucken fallen auch frische Obstnoten von Pfirsich, Aprikose und Pflaume auf und treten auch immer mehr in den Vordergrund. Auch ein Hauch Blaubeeren lässt sich erahnen. Jetzt schmeckt man auch den sehr hohen Alkoholgehalt und diese macht glasklar, dass er hier auch noch ein Wörtchen mitzureden hat. Das Bier hat eine dichte Konsistenz, man merkt die enorme Schwere - es bleibt aber trotzdem recht süffig. Gefährlich, gefährlich. Das ist ein richtig toll gemachter Weizenbock. Man merkt sofort, dass man hier was sehr Exklusives im Glas hat. Ein besonderes Bier für besondere Anlässe.
