Dark brown, not much head head, the rye barrel comes through on the nose. Soft body, cut with big barrel, rye, med bitterness, some nuttiness, and a hint of dark chocolate. Solid.

On tap at Bottleworks, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is dominated by the rye and bourbon barrels, some molasses, and medium roast. Flavour has a ton of barrel, with huge, spicy rye barrel, followed by massive bourbon, medium roast, and spicy, earthy malt. Lots of spicy rye on the finish. Not the most complex malt profile but great barrel character. Excellent.

Aroma has notes of bourbon, wood, coconut, vanilla, cashew brittle. Taste is moderately sweet backed by the right amount of bitterness. Lovely bourbon barrel aged flavors. Excellent.
