Black colour with beige head who stays long.Aroma is roasted and creamy perhaps a little sour after taste but also with good note of coffee and licorice still a nice stout.

Pint on tap at The Elephant, Adelaide. Blacker than a stockbroker's heart. Head of crema. Caramel malt, dark chocolate nose. Solid lacing. Liquorice and grain to the fore. Dark chocolate smoothes the way, beautiful luxurious texture. Seriously good Stout, full of depth and complexity. If you find it anywhere let it warm up. But man, is it hard to find!

A bit thinner flavor than the original Coopers Stout. Nice, but I prefer that.

Tap at Cookie, Melbourne. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin tan head and some broken lace. The aroma is roasty malt, dry, liqourice hop. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter with a dry roast, light smoke malt, watery, light alcohol, charcoal, light metallic hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. I don't think the ageing brought much to this beer.
