Sampled at a Goose Island brewery office bottle share. Dark color with kind of a neutral malty nose. The taste is full of malt too, plus a bit of fruitiness. This has survived the trip to this town pretty well for an import.

375ml bottle courtesy of Elard. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, molasses, sweet red berry fruit, light hop. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a crisp, roasty, sweet fruit, dry, warm alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle, thanks to Henrique Braga! Pours hazy reddish dark amber with large spongy beige head, caramel and vanilla like yeast aroma, high carbonation, caramel taste, longish finish with caramel aftertaste. Nice but the body is a bit on the thin side.

A hazed reddish amber ale with a thin brown head. A pleasant nutty vanilla aroma, curacao, alcohol. In mouth, more of a dunkel with bananas, fruity esters, walnuts, not bad but rather German. Bottled, at Mondial 2010.
