Dark chestnut colour. Flavour is dry, woody and bitter. Also has a dark malt sweetness. The flavour intensifies and improves as it comes up to temperature.

On tap at Paulaner im Tal, Munich. Nice brown-amber color with big small-bubbled beige head. Aroma is chocolate, caramel, some rusty nails. Taste is similar, nice malt base, no booziness, not too sweet, quite dry actually. Rather low carbonation, juicy mouthfeel. A classic, I suppose.

500ml bottle at Chopin Airport, Warsaw. Light murky brown, with that suspect look that so many Dunkels have. Smell is bananas, potpourri, raw dough and chocolate malt. Gentle sweet malty taste, unchallenging but refreshing. Solid.
