The pleasure of yesteryear

Velvety matte shine – Smooth, full-bodied flavor

Munich Kellerbier Anno 1417 shines with a seductive golden honey color. A beer with a distinctive character: earthy, bold, quaffable and yet refreshingly mild and light. Just like a real Bavarian.

Creamy and effervescent, typical of unfiltered beers, a delightful ticklish mouthfeel. Aromas of caramel, honey and plum dominate and emphasize the beer’s malty, spicy flavor. Unmistakable hints of apple and grapefruit bring in a fruity freshness.

Our Munich Kellerbier, a beer like from the good old days when beer was born. After aging four weeks, it is bottled unfiltered, which still preserves all its yeast vitamins and trace elements.

@ Camping Donnersberg. Sweet malts, light orange peel and quite some melted marzipan. Sweet and creamy, with also some bittering hops. Pastry lager.

Als Hacker-Pschorr Kellerbier Naturtrüb verkostet. Scheint von den Daten (Alkohol, Stammwürze) die trübe Variante des Hacker-Pschorr Münchner Gold (Edelhell) zu sein. Getreidig, leicht malzig, minimale Honignote. Etwas stärker gehopft als das normale Hacker-Pschorr Helle, geht aber immer noch als eher mild durch. Angenehmes Mundgefühl, gute Substanz, weich, leicht cremig. Gut.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Pours a hazy light golden/amber colour with a medium sized creamy white head. Average carbonation. Nice lacing. Aromas of cereal, grass, straw, bread, biscuits and a little honey. Taste is similar to the aroma with the same notes. Light to medium bodied, very slightly oily smooth mouthfeel. Nice fairly sweet, bready, malty and slightly dry finish with a lasting aftertaste. Very nice

Orange color. Hoppy aroma and flavor with a hint of plastic. Somewhat dusty with just a hint of oak and raspberry. maybe the flavor is a bit too clean for a real kellerbier, but the intentions are good.

50 cl bottle @ hotel room, Lübbenau. BBE 03/2020 As ”Hacker-Pschorr Naturtrübes Kellerbier” Aroma has strong malty character with cereal. Flavour has cereal-like malt , mint, some grassy hops and mellow herbal tones. Also cardboard. A malty and a tad musty kellerbier.

Rocky white head left a spotty cover & collar on an unclear pale golden body. Pale malt, floral & yeast aroma. Medium bodied, sharp on the tongue with smooth creamy back. Fruity tasting with berry, malt, nectarine & confectionery.

Amber with a creamy white head. Bready aroma with noticeable caramel. A whiff of something fruity—could be the promised grapefruit I guess. Taste is sweet, full of bread, honey and herbal spice. Medium to dense body, moderate carbonation, surprisingly thick. Quite drinkable and refreshing on a warm day.
