Many thanks for this beer to Jacek Wigier (wineofdreams@gmail.com) Piwo jasne, klarowne, srednia piana opada szybko niczym potracona staruszka na przejsciu przez pijanego kierowce. Piwo dolnofermentacyjne wiec moja ocena tez bedzie dosc niska, malo wyraziste, typowy lager, prawie cytrusow sie nie uraczy w smaku tez. Do niczego.

330ml bottle. Pours gold brown. Biscuit, cereal, touch of sulfur, touch of citrus. Medium body. Surprisingly malty and not too unpleasant.

Nose shows herbal and spicy hops along with cardboard and sweet biscuity malt.Flavours include more spicy and herbal hops, light grassy notes, slight cardboard and an assertive bitterness. Not much to fill it out.

Tap at the Royston Hotel, Melbourne. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin broken white head and some broken lace. The aroma is lager malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth, light fruit woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. As far as lagers go it’s fine and has some flavour. Thankfully it’s not gassy either.

On tap at Moon Dog, pours a clear straw yellow with a medium white head. Aroma brings out crisp crackery malt and grassy notes. Flavour is quite pungent for a lager, with grassy notes, straw and biscuity malt. Clean and crisp. A much more interesting than ordinary lager. Decent.

Deep golden color. Frothy white head. Very clean fruity nose but not overly hoppy. Very clean dry mouth. Modest happiness. Pretty damn fine for a lager.

Bottle. Gold with an inch plus of white head. Aroma of melons, mandarin, cracker bread, some mango. Sweet with firmish bready malt, then layers of tropical fruit and citrus. Dries out a little with citrus-tinged bitterness. Previous incarnations of this have been disappointing. This is good. Phew.
