Tap at The Catfish, Melbourne. Poured a clear dark amber with a thin white head and some broken lace. The aroma is light toffee caramel hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a rich woody, metallic, light floral hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Ok but overly hopped and not in a good way. A touch light, lacking any kind of fruit and with a somewhat unpleasant aftertaste.

330ml bottle into glass. Crystal clear bronze/orange beer with small solid white head. Slight malt nose. Highly carbonated, fine bubbles. Light body, pineapple taste at first then biscuit and smoky malt. Interesting beer, seems to change character with every mouthful. Classic amber ale.

(Bottle) Clear mid brown with reddish hints, and minimal head. Pleasant aroma of caramel with hints of pine and gunpowder. Light body with quite lively carbonation. Pleasant rich but not heavy taste, with a backbone of dark toffee, hints of stone fruit at the start and some crisp bitterness at finish. Pleasant, easy drinking, comforting.
