Draft at the Kernel taphouse. Just a light haze on this gold beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy smooth palate, soft, modest fine carbonation. Light pale malts, smooth, a thin creamy sweetness. Mosaic and Nectaron hops bring light cooling pine, a little candy fruits and mild soft stone fruits. Airy finish. Clean and drinkable but lacks the hop intensity and the sheer excitement of Kernel in years gone past.

Moderately hazed golden orange topped with a lasting just off white head.
Nose is melon, tropical fruit esters, tangerine, soft malts.
Taste comprises grapefruit, pineapple, grass, light breads, bitter orange, melon.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with juicy come grassy hop bitterness.
Tidy pale.

Bottle via the online shop. Unusually dark pour. Like a gingery amber. Hmm. Good swede however. Yeah this is wonky. Sweet and jelly fruit. Sweet. Crap. Pretty sure this is the only shite condition Kernel I’ve had.

Keg at the tap. Aroma is sweet and fruity. Light spice. Opaque gold. Foamy white head. Fruity spicy. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish.

Cloudy straw colour. Whitw head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of sorrel, pale malt, lemon and lime peel, Herbal and refreshing.
