On cask at Bier Huis in Ossett - opaque black body with an off white head. Deep nose of liquorice and roast coffee. Nice mouthful of oiliness and roasty character. Not out of production by the looks of it.

Bottle shared @ final old style THT. Opaque black color, average sized light to medium brown colored head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is malts, lightly roast, liquorice. Taste malts, lightly roast and liquorice again, dark malts and some milk chocolate. Slight touch of alcohol, only lightly bitter. Hmm not bad but also not entirely convincing. Decent though.

Bottle. Cotteridge. Clear, dark cola brown. Halo of tan. Big roast malts. Leather and tar. Dark chocolate. Taste is roast bitter, with a sickly sweetness. Some burnt, savoury bitterness. Too much carbonation thins the mouthfeel. Finishes sickly sweet, and jarring bitter.
