Czech Style “semi-dark” lager brewed with a careful selection of Moravian Pilsner, Moravian Munich, and Caramunich malts. Single decoction mash schedule, cold fermentation, and a long lager in oak barrels result in a rich copper pour with a creamy white head, offering a perfect interplay of toasty malt sweetness, light caramel, and a hint of fresh-baked bread.

Can. Pours clear amber, medium beige head, good lacing. Aroma is bready, roasty, caramel, dust. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body. Solid

Canned 2/18/25, drunk 4/26/25.
Clear, dark chestnut. Medium-sized, butter head.
Rich caramel, hint of tobacco, some prune. At first I was a bit put off by these notes but now I'm intrigued.
Toasty. Not too much so. Some crayon/wax, but there's elegant cigar, prune, raisin. A bit slight of body, again, not egregiously so. Buttercream, toffee, heavier toast on the end. Very clean. Just need a bit more malt depth.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear amber with a nice creamy tan head. Aroma is bready, almost suggesting pumpernickel. Med body. Malty but not sweet. Nicely bitter. Bready with possibly floral hop. Very pleasing.
