Maibock is een traditioneel blond ondergistend bier, dat wordt gebrouwen en gedronken om de lente te vieren. De oorsprong van dit bier ligt in Duitsland, maar is al vele jaren ook een traditie in Nederland. Het wordt vooral na de vastentijd tot aan Pasen gedronken. Onze Maibock is een heerlijk fris bier met een mooi hoppig karakter van de Magnum en Saaz hoppen en een vriendelijk alcohol percentage van 5,5%.

Fles 75cl thuis. Maltig, grainy, citrustonen, licht caramel, bready, hoppig, fruitig, bloemig, bokzoetje. Fijne balans. (29-12-2025).

Helder amberkleurig bier met schuim wat snel wegzakt. Smaak is licht bitter en ietwat zoetig met iets van graan, honing, karamel en geroosterd brood.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Malty aroma with a hint of floral noble hop and some bready notes. Moderate sweet with a light bitterness. Medium body. Nothing special, but decent beer.

Clear golden colour, tiny white head. Bready aroma. Light-bodied. Bready malty, straight-forward, clean flavour. No hussle.

0.75 l bottle from the brewery's web shop, best before June 2027. A bit hazy, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, moderately fruity-floral aroma of grains, some honey and light lemon peel. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly fruity-floral taste of grains, straw, some honey and traces of lemon peel, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly dry finish with hints of cardboard. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Fairly bland, a bit anaemic even, way below my expectations.

On tap at De Gouveneur Maastricht. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Some diacetyl or malty something
Some ok white flowers character. Moderate bitterness on the finish. Yes not quote right. Shame really as it had z chance. Just a little butterscotch.

Tap @ Tapperij Het Veulen, Hertogenbosch. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity malt and light hoppy - grass. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. 150425
