Phew. Thought this was going to be a Summer ale. I'd call it a sour hefe, which gives it a Saison vibe. Aromas of banana, clove and cinnamon. The taste is overwhelmed by a sharp lemon taste. Not for me.

Crisp, slightly hazy golden coloured body with a soapy, light tan head that stays afloat quite nicely. Aroma of strong wheat, yeast, bread, curacao and tons of bananas - very strong in the nose and showing a lot of yeast. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong wheatie and yeastie flavours show at first with a more pungent clove and banana bite that also has a slightly grassy and dry hay flavour towards the end. Aftertaste is dry, but showing a lot of character, from yeast to wheat, cloves to bananas and bread to oranges - very nice and flavourful, especially compared to other beers here in Vietnam. Overall, this is very nice for a wheat beer, especially from Vietnam, and a very welcome option considering the pale lagers here and the heat that seems always-present, even in Winter. I sampled this 33 cL [heavy] bottle purchased from Circle K in Saigon (40 Huynh Thuc Khang), Vietnam on 08-August-2019 for 65,000VND sampled a day later on my tenth wedding anniversary with my three kids and wife here in Saigon, Vietnam on 09-August-2019.

Siste planke på East West sammen med Kitty mars-19: lett uklar gylden med ok skum. Floral duft og smak med banan, tyggis, litt brøddeig og citrusfrukter. Grei nok, men ikke mer.

Tap at the Brewpub, HCMC. Poured a cloudy medium to light golden amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is floral, light banana some spices. The flavour is light acid citrus sweet with a dry, grainy malt, light clove, floral hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
