Bottle from the Antarabangsa Enterprise, Penang, Malaysia. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is caramel malt, toffee, resin hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a dry crispy dry malt, resin floral hop bitter palate and a long, rather unpleasant bitter aftertaste. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

330ml bottle into pint glass. Subdued sweet malt nose. Copper coloured with sudsy white head. Many tiny bubbles. Full body, smooth and bitter in the mouth. The bitterness carries through to the finish. Late malt balances everything beautifully. Nice beer.

(Bottle) Clear dark amber / medium brown with very slight white head. Subtle sweetish biscuity malt aroma. Fairly light body with pleasant soft carbonation. Malt and hops on the foretaste with the malt ebbing away for some lasting gentle bitterness. Notes of tea and maybe toffee. Pleasant beer.

330ml bottle. Deep amber brown colour, foamy off-white head and aroma of malt, honey & toffee. Taste is sweet malty with caramel, toffee, nutty notes and a light bitterness. Smooth mouth feel, medium bodied, medium carbonation, some residual sweetness to a dry finish. OK.

Pours dark amber with a small fading head.Nose shows caramel and over-ripe apples alongside some faint, spicy hops.Similarly malty flavours, with nutty and toasty characters. Also some boring spicy hops leading to a mild, plain bitterness in the finish.Could use more carbonation and a richer body.

From a 330ml bottle on 26/11/2011. Pours a clear amber with a negligible head. Has a strong caramel and toffee malt aroma with some honey. There is a strong caramel sweetness up front, followed by a relatively sharp offsetting bitterness. Quite nice.

Bottle. Amber with a creamy pale beige head. Aroma of toffee and honey, earthy and floral hops. Creamy mouthfeel. Rich sweet honeyed malts with balancing bitterness. Slightly spicy at the end with a little resin. Straightforward rich amber with nice balance.
