CBJ Tasting. Can. Dark slightly murky darkest brown. No head. aroma has big chewy malts, dark fruit and a bitter boozy edge. Flavourwise it is booze led. Big and fruity - dark fruit. Molasses. More booze. Medium-thick bodied. Oily. Average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Yum. Warming.

That’s good, big gear. Rich and meaty semi-dark malts, toffee, honey, berries, booze, vanilla. A little smokey note. Quite drinkable given the heft.

Tasting at CBJ, thanks to me for the can. Near opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth dark toffee malts, a touch of peat. A little malt cream. Ripe fruits and a fair kick of alcohol spice. Intense and drinkable.

Light shade of black topped with a tan cap that head to the edge.
Nose is dark malts, chocolate, fruit cake mix, spice.
Taste comprises toffee, dark malts, figgy jam, light spice.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow boost offered.
Tidy sipper.

Thanks omhper! Black colour, small white head. Aroma is dried fruit, liquorice, some chocolaty and syrupy tones with some plummy tones. Almost a bit stouty, but still more a BW. Flavour is liquorice, some alcohol, mild smoky wooden toens with some plum and chocolate syrup. Lovely. Boozy, but 15.5 % is surprisingly easy going and not all too burning here.

Canned, from Systembolaget. Dark brown, minimal head. Caramekky niose with dates, wood and whisky. Sweet with full to massive body and well rounded mouthfeel. Treacle and dates, dark chocolate and whisky. Warming bitter finish. Harmonious despite its size and power .

Svært mørk brun med lys brunt skum. Lukter svisker, toast, mørk sjokolade og fat. Fyldig. Smaker toffee, svisker, dadler, mørk sjokolade, mørk sirup, whiskey og fat.
