Draught@CBC2016. Amber colour with a mediumsized foamy head. Aroma is caramel, some sweet malts, candy sugar and mild rye like elements. Flavour is quite a big kick on the rye with some caramel, alcohol and toffee + toast boosting it up. Yet smooth to drink, but actually more a sipper.

Backlog October 2016. Almost clear amber body under a small, fast disappearing off-white head. Aroma has malt, stone fruit, cherry, dry fruit, brown sugar, spicy and vinous. Taste is sweet malt, caramel, dry fruit, raisins and vinous alcohol. Fine body and same aftertaste. On the sweeter side, but still dangerously easy drinkable.

Batch 147. Not sure what a Mumme is supposed to be like, but this one is quite tasty. High carbonation but no foam (like soda). Herbal smell. Thick mouthfeel. Taste is very sweet, quite herbal too, a bit citrussy. I like it, reminds of Belgian Strongs.

33cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours brown, not really attractive, with no foam. Aroma is very nice, of malt, hazelnut, caramel. Body is fairly dense, with limited but tickling carbonation. Taste is even better than aroma. Good sweetness, very limited bitterness and some sour feeling seemingly from ageing/oxidation. Finish is long and pleasant.

On tap @ Pingvinen. This is a cloudy dark bronze colored one with a small and islandy sidesticking beige top. Mild aroma. Soft nose with mild nuts. It's mild malty sweet, some coin-like copper thing blending inbetween here. Mild raisins also. I like the raisin part. Yeah, not extreme but decent smelling one. Tastes, well. It's I guess an acquired taste? Really yeasty, nuts and it's malt sweet with lots of rum. Has this perhaps been on some rum barrels? Not woody though. Not extremely much carbonation in it and it's thick oily on the mouthfeel. It also has a mild sourness, fruity sourness? Nah, this wasn't completely mine thing, but interesting and different? Yeah. 12.03.2016
