Cask at the Wellington - Birmingham. Pours clear reddish gold with a frothy, off-white head. The nose holds lightly toasted grains, citrus peel, bread. Light sweet flavour with sturdy bitterness, grass and pine, dry bread malts. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Bitter on the finish, with more grassy hops, crunchy grains, faint citrus. So so.

20th May 2017: cask in The Wellington, Birmingham (before the Cotteridge Tasting). Red hue to the dark amber body, thin head covering. Nose had some malty esters, bready maybe: a little fruitlike traces too. Taste was drier than the aroma indicated and leaning towards a spicey, citrusy flavour from the hop content. Decent enough.
