A powerful, full taste due to the prominent alcohol glow and the various malt types. Drinks very easily but is therefore a bit insidious. Golden blond with fine foam, fruity with a rather bitter aftertaste. Slightly sweet touch at the beginning, culminating in a bitter end note from the Alsatian hops.

A: apples, banana, spicy, honey, peach, roses.
T: full malty base, banana, red apples, honey, spicy, toast, biscuits, nice balanced bitterness, medium carbonation, quite nice balanced for the style, enjoyed for sure.

330ml bottle. Minimally milky, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy and strawy, pale malty aroma, hints of silage, yeasty fruity overtones with a touch of woody pineapple. Taste is bitter hoppy and bitter alcoholic, slightly grainy and strawy, pale malty, minimally yeasty fruity, a touch of woody pineapple; alcoholic finish. Watery texture, indifferent palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Simple and monotonous, quite alcoholic - not my cup of tea.

Flesje gekregen van Tomhendriksen en thuis gedronken. Goudgeel helder bier met weinig schuim dat heel snel weg is. Aroma is eerst een beetje wrang, zurig maar later wat moutig en fruitig. Smaak van wat citrus, banaan en appel. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

On tap at Brasserie de Bellevaux, Saturday 16th March 2019 en route to our new home in Attenkirchen, Bavaria via a stop off for the night in Heidelberg. Pours hazy gold with a mid sized white head. The yeastiness in the blonde also shows again here, a little boozy banana and slowly the abv starts to have a little effect or is it affect? Good
