Colabrun med beige skum. Lukter mørk malt, karamell og mørke bær. smaker malt, mørk karamell og noe bær/frukt.

Bottle @ Jensens Bøffhus, Aalborg. Clear, dark amber body with a nice, dense, creamy tan head. Aroma has dark malt, toast and coffee. Flavor has smooth dark malt, slightly roasted, bread, toast, and some general fruitiness. Medium to moderate bitterness and dry finish. A bit thin bodied but I fine match to my steak. I think this is a bit better than what the average score indicates here, might have something to do with the reputation for this brewery?

KYGGK 210123. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, nuts, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is roasted malt, nuts, coffee, chocolate, spices, bread, herbs. OK beer.

Bottle. A chestnut colored unclear beer with a dense finger-thick beige head. The aroma is roasted, spiced and nutty, with cola and toffee. It's medium bodied and semi-sweet on the palate, with a light bitterness. Chocolate, caramel, herbs and nuts, with a good dash of cola. Quite sweet finish. Sort of interesting and tasteful, but also too dull I think. 230121

0.5 l bottle from 'Superbrugsen', best before May 2023. Clear, very dark ruby with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Intensely sweetish-malty, quite fruity, minimally spicy aroma of molasses, raisins, elderberry, blackberry and caramel. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently fruity and a little spicy taste of molasses, caramel, chocolate, raisins, light lovage and traces of cinnamon, followed by a short, slightly bitter finish. Full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very rich beer, really well-balanced, almost oily but far from cloying.

On tap @ Scandic Aalborg Øst. Pours dark brown, with a creamy off white head. Aroma is dark roasted malts with coffee, burned sugar and leather, as well as nutty minerals. Medium to full body, with average carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with dark syrupy notes, caramels and leather, as well as heather and nutty minerals. Dry finish.
