31/12/2022. Bottle courtesy of IOWTim's trip to Kent. Pours clear deep amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is malty, biscuit, caramel, bread, dried fruits, hint of apple. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily watery, quite fizzy. Bittersweet fruity finish. Too carbonated, otherwise quite enjoyable.

Bottle shared at Chrisso’s May 2014 tasting 25/05/2014. Thanks to Ian. Copper / red coloured pour with a loose off white head. Aroma is light smoke phenol, caramel malts, touch of rubber. Flavour is composed of stale malts, light caramel, sweet unrefined sugars, Palate is dryish, grainy tanin. Poor.

Bottle at the chriso May 2014 tasting - London. Pours clear, rich gold with a creamy white head. A bit farty and leafy, with generic bready sugars. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly sugary on the finish with notes of toffee, bread, and there’s a bit more leafy bitterness, too. Eh.
