Keg at BD Shep’s Boost. It pours jet black with jet black with a medium tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, big coffee action dominates, earth, light spice, dark chocolate and some bonfire. The taste is rich roast, big charred character, loads of coffee going, ash, peppery spice, mild astringency and touch of alcohol with smooth, coffee driven finish. Medium + body and moderate carbonation. It’s all about the coffee. Decent stuff.
