ETON RIFLES is an IPA with a big tangy taste and wonderful fruit aroma. An unusual mix of hops (with the appropriately named Target hop from Kent and and zesty Equinox, Enigma and Mosaic) goes really well with the pale malt grown locally in Windsor for a dry character and very light colour.

Draught (Man in the Moon JDW, Newport IOW) - Hazy golden and colour. Notes of peach, grapefruit and lemon zest stand out in both the aroma. and the taste. Was very refreshing on a July day when I had it.

Keg at The George, Croydon. It lightly hazy golden with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is fresh, zingy lemon, grapefruit, floral and white bread. The taste is crisp, bitter, pithy, lemon, grapefruit, pepper, soda water and light soap with a dry finish. Light body and moderate - high carbonation. Refreshing enough, if a touch thin. Ok.

Keg at the Queen Hotel (JDW), Aldershot. A hazy amber pour with a tight cream head; tropical fruit aroma - mango and grapefruit; immediate dry piney bitterness with a fruity body - passion fruit; and a lingering fruity bitterness. Good stuff, but served far too cold.
