ETON RIFLES is an IPA with a big tangy taste and wonderful fruit aroma. An unusual mix of hops (with the appropriately named Target hop from Kent and and zesty Equinox, Enigma and Mosaic) goes really well with the pale malt grown locally in Windsor for a dry character and very light colour.

Endelig i London igjen! Min første rating denne turen, og det på The Mossy Well, Muswell Hill nov-18: lett uklar gylden med flott skum som varer hele veien ned. Cremet munnfølelse med ed malt, citrus og delikat urtebitterhed. Fruktig avslutning. Meget lettdrikkelig.

Alma. Keg. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth light and fairly dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Light malts but decent for a SIPA. Mild sweetness. Ripe orange peel and bitterness. Touch of bruised orange. Little pine. Mellow hop skunk. Touch of brighter citrus on the back end. Spicy bitter linger. Comes together well enough. Satisfying.

Keg from the Sun (JDW), Redhill. Dark gold with a thin film of white head. Nice scent: mango juice, citrus, a hint of pine. The taste is bitter and a little bit acrid. There’s an astringency that takes over the beer up to the finish, and the aftertaste is just TCP without any of the flavours promised by the aroma.

Tap at Tilly Shilling, Farnborough. Hoppy grassy aroma, but not very strong. Hazy gold. Initially very attractive when paired with a creamy head, but latter soon settled. Lightly bitter, which increases with strength through to finish. Medium bodied. Dry mouthfeel, which gradually expands. Not mindblowing but nice enough. Certainly sessionable.
