Fruit forward and refreshingly tart, this Fruited Sour Ale illuminates palates with a bright blend of açaí, prickly pear and passionfruit flavors highlighted with a hint of sea salt. Glow emits a flavorful, aromatic epiphany.

Blikje gedeeld door Tomhendriksen. Oranje-geel bier met grof schuim tijdens inschenken maar dat trekt binnen 5 seconden weg. Aroma van krieken. Smaak is zurig.

Beautiful very clear pink coloured body with hints of gold and a soft off-white head that fades very quickly, but the glowing pink is very nice here and very subtle throughout. Aroma of light strawberries, a dash of wheat and some subdued bretty funky yeast notes along with a light hit of caster sugar and some more from fructose, but the strawberries are strongest here, but all things considered - it's pretty light in the nose. Light-bodied; Strong dry berry flavours show at first with blackberries, blueberries and perhaps some strawberry notes, but more on the deeper, drier side versus anything sweet, with a note from the yeast (not funky nor complex) and finishing with a light wheated malt note, but very mild throughout. Aftertaste shows the crisp fruits with a lot of dryness and not much of anything else, which in this case, is very nice, given how mild and light this is, but what is here is dry and enjoyable. Overall, a very nice and crisp beer with some good fresh fruit notes, but nothing strong or pungent and what's left is good, super drinkable and good following a bigger beer or during the hot months in the summertime! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Kroger [grocery] in Dayton, Ohio on 10-August-2021 for US$1,87 (part of a mixed six pack) sampled at my house here in Washington on 20-June-2022.

Tap at mad mex. Reddish light brown. Barely any nose. Taste is a little dull and very laid back. Reminds me of some well made macro lagers. Mild and easy. Certainly well balanced. But I must say its very hard to find much if any sour in this. Sour? I think not. Fortunately it does have some cutting co2 that makes up for its lack of tartness.

Can. A- Passionfruit, mild guava. A- Peach color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Pear, passionfruit, subtle sweetness. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, juicy finish. O- I get the prickly pear surprisingly and passionfruit. The acai is there but not a flavor I am too familiar with. Overall, pretty good.

The pour comes out of the can as a bit of a rosé, still a little pinkish, very busy head that goes away, leaving a lot of bubbles to rise up the column of the glass. Smell has nice notes of tart, tropical fruit. There taste has nice prickly pear up front. Not much malt. The tart fruit works with the lighter malt load to keep this a nice dry concoction. How should I describe… tart right up there, but not actually sour. Reminded of Mexican lagers with agave, but even more so. Glad to be having this by the grill (my usual beer sipping spot) when it's 90 out here.

Pours mostly clear gold. It has a mildly tart, fruity aroma. The flavor is fruity and lightly tart with berries. It’s easy drinking and overall fairly good, though I’m not sure how it’s a pale ale.
