The Jump as part of our cask core range. An English golden ale with a teutonic touch.

A very simple grist that lets both of our regeneratively grown grains meld with a very simple hopping regime.

We’ve included rather exquisite German varieties from @locherhopfen that give delicate notes of lemon peel and stone fruit to almost mimic the hopping of Southern Bavarian pilsners. All hops are added to the kettle; beginning, end and whirlpool.

We think it’s perfectly refreshing as we ease into the warmer weather (edit- he writes as it’s a balmy 2 Celsius this morning 😂)

Cask at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Aromas of lime, grapefruit, white grape, gooseberry. Flavours are similar with a splash of passionfruit & kiwifruit. Rich bittersweet taste. Very nicely held together brew.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 7th July 2025. Hazy golden amber with shallow off-white foam and full lacing. Complex hoppiness in aroma. Exquisite blend of tangy fruits and grasses in-mouth, and an agreeable malt that goes on to dominate the finish. Velvet smooth mouthfeel and a fair amount of body.

Lovely fresh and natural grainy pale malt character, mild bitter straw, biscuits, husk, subtle citrus. Lightly drying bodied with fine carb. Decent condition. Quite moreish.
