On tap at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. A reddish chestnut pour with a ring of cream head; biscuity malt aroma; sweetish malt taste with some plummy fruit; then a dry biscuity finish. A pleasant, Midlands-style malty bitter.

Cask-conditioned at the Old Green Tree, Bath 1/10/2017. Amber in colour, with a small, off-white, head. Easy drinking bitter, with some crisp malts, hedgerow fruits, hint of caramel and moderately bitter finish. Good.

Cask at the Case is Altered, Warwick. Poured a clear medium brown with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, some sweet fruit, some hoppy notes. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth rich, malt, light bitter hop, light citrus palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A great session ale.
