This beer is a blend of 70% barrel aged ale and 30%’ Brass’ a sublime Ernest wet hopped ale from our Kentish neighbours Whitstable Oyster Brewing. It was then dry-hopped in tank with our own 2024 harvest of Fuggles and Cascade. A unique meeting of the leading English hop manufacturing counties.

Bottle from Hogs Back Brewery Shop at CBJ Tasting. Hazy light gold. Thick foamy white head. Aroma is delicate- citrus and sherbert. Flavourwise it's equally delicate - sharp citrus with a smooth streak. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish.

Nicely rounded, mellow salinity, low acidity. A little peach, citrus peel. Soft pine needles. Very drinkable.

Tasting at CBJ, thanks to Bearded Avenger. A light haze on this gold beer, small and relatively short lived pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, good fine carbonation. A light smooth malt creamy sweetness goes well with abundant Brett and mild dried fruits. Light semi dry finish. Tidy.

Bottle via the online shop. Hazed pale gold. Sturdy glossy topped white froth. Looks boss. Nose has a load of woody funk. Lots of bugs here. Fresh cut lime. Touch of leafy spicy mulch. Taste is pretty dry and fairly tangy. Juicy and vibrant overall. Tangy juicy finish. Necked it.
