Cask at the Pup and Duckling, Solihull. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, refreshing woody citrus hop, light dry yeast palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A superb pint.

Cask at Waggon & Horses, shared with Finn a half pint. Solid lacework from a lasting white layer. Clear golden body. Citrus nose. Grapefruit taste joined by modest notes of caramel sweetness. Dry bitter ending. On par with the style, more or less (York, 26.01.2013).

cask@George on the stand, London - Pale gold pour with small white head. Light citrus grassy fruit notes with grainy malt base. Kind of average overall for me but the mrs really liked it (d15)

Gravity cask at Pembury Tavern. Clear yellow pour with no head. Semi-sharp bready malt aroma with light hay. Low sweetness with some cereal, grain malts and mild grassy bitters. Light bodied and flat. Clean, faintly sweet finish with light, buttered bread and some crisp hops. Average.

Cask handpull at Market Porter, Borough with MagicDave. Pale gold, thin white head. Slightly yeasty slightly oxidised aroma. Some hop sting on the finish, but not enough to make it interesting.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 16/09/09. Sweetish golden ale, with some summer fruits, doughy malts and crab apple sourness in the finish. Good.
