Grabbed this because I'm getting HYPED for my train trip across the southwest. Nope, its Australian. Still tasty! Darwin also thrilled.

Two Birds Taco Cerveza 5.2% Ale with fresh coriander, lime & corn Orange gold with a thick rocky head of foam plus a lime and coriander aroma. Medium bodied with a matching corn grain, lime and coriander flavor. Really matched my tacos perfectly.

Surprising, thought it was going to be one of those lets try something different beer. Cloudy yellow color, big off-white head. Fruity, hoppy scent. Bitter, hoppy, citrus taste. Lime, spicey aftertaste. Medium to fizzy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

330ml bottle. Pours cloudy and light. Highly carbonated. There’s a lot going on, with a slightly soapy and sour smell, and hops, corn, wheat and lime flavours all coming through. I feel like they’ve tried to do too much, and the wheat and corn in particular really don’t work together.

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is lemon citrus, grainy, with a little yeast. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light, grassy hop, light citrus bitter, light spicy palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Hazy light amber. Medium head. Has an earthy aroma, tastes like C hop, touch if citrus maybe but not super well-balanced.

Australia Day beer #5. 330ml bottle into weizen glass. Pours with an ENORMOUS white head (lucky I used a weizen glass!). Aroma is spicy, lemony, quite subtle. Hazy amber beer. Fresh coriander and grass at first then a wheat taste appears. Some corn also. Excellent developing taste. Finish is dry, a bit earthy. Great beer, let it warm a little.

From a 500ml bottle on 25/5/2014 (shared by Butz with thanks). Pours a murky dark golden with a huge, slightly out of control, head. The aroma is very yeasty and basementy, with some fruity notes. Flavour wise, it’s a bit of an odd one. There’s lots of tart citrus (lemon and lime), with some funky yeast, wheat and clove. Not overly sweet or bitter, and lacks any discernible character. Has a medium body and lively carbonation. A bit of a mess really.
