On keg at Beer Deluxe, Melbourne. Pours hazy straw gold with a white head with lacing. Aroma of bready malts, biscuit malts, lightly floral. Taste is light sweet bready malts, gentle hop bitterness. Not much too it. Light body, fine carb, light sweet finish. Dull

330ml can into schooner. Pours a cloudy amber with thin white head. Faint hop nose with a touch of umami. Many fine bubbles. Crisp and clean mouthfeel, light body. Finish has grain, bubblegum, light hop touches. Interesting flavours for a lager. Easy drinking.

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeast, light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a dry grainy woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A basic lager. Nothing too special.

This one’s not a looker, with a pale straw colour and a pretty mad carbonation. The aroma’s unappealing too with a bready, grainy flavour dominating, and although the hops are pleasantly bitter in the mouth, the malt is bordering on cloyingly sweet. A disappointing effort from the Mornington team.

Can. Gold with a white head which fades to a coat then sticks around. Grainy aroma with grass, spices and some lemon. Tettnang apparently. Carbonation is on the lower side of medium. Grainy, even husky and sweetish before moderate bitterness with pepper and grass. Spiciness creeps up a bit after a time. Decent, certainly fresh.
