From a 330ml bottle on 16/7/2016. pours a clearish medium golden with a medium to biggish white head. The nose is yeasty, bready, and slightly spicy. The taste replicates the aroma, with the addition of some sweet fruit, with some moderate hops and a slight vinous character. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. A tad unusual and quite enjoyable.

Draft at Taps Beer Bar Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy light amber with a long lasting frothy white head and lots of clingy lace. The aroma is citrus, resin hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a fruity light hop, pepper spice palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Tap, Great Ocean Road Brewhouse. Hazy light tan. Quite fruity, has a mellow bitterness, touch of sweetish cloying pale malt.

Tap at the Great Ocean Road Brewhouse. Cloudy golden, offwhite lace. Tropical hop notes, pineapple, mango, grape notes. Medium body, mellow mouthfeel. The blend with the Chardonnay works really well: Tropical and pastoral fruity notes on a dry bed. Medium body, chewy, dry. Light wooden on the tip of the tongue. Awesome!

Bottle. Bright pale amber with a puffy inch of head that lasts. High bead. Huge melon and passionfruit aroma with grapefruit, mango, some bread, light spices. From the aroma you could easily believe it’s actually got Chardonnay in it; from the taste it’s very clear it has (and not the sort I much like). The beer pretty much holds its own though, with some bread, peach and spicy bitterness. I like but don’t love it, but it is very well done.

Pours amber with a large head.Nose shows sweet clean malt, confectionery notes, light lychee, papaya and guava.Similar flavours, very clean, some soft cookie dough-like malt, a little pear and apple. Hints of chardonnay in the finish, not sure if it’s necessary though.
