Cask at Merton Beer Festival, Friday, 26th February 2016 Pours dark gold/light amber with a white head. Some sweet citrussy hops on nose that don’t transfer into the mouth as much as I’d like, biscuity malts, mid table bitterness, light fruity beer throughout. It’s ok. A7 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.3

Cask gravity at Merton Winter BF 2016. Clear deep gold colour lasting white head. It’s a tasty enough golden ale some dusty hop on finish. Some juicy malt a little fruit salad. OK.

Cask at the Victoria, Birmingham. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin broken white head and lots of clingy lace. The aroma is citrus grassy hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light smooth yeast, big tropical fruity grassy hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. An awesome fruity season ale.

Three Johns, Cask. Almost clear paleish gold beer, few white bubbles. Light palate, modest fine carbonation. Smooth pale malts, mildly sweet. Mild orange hops, touch of resin. Light finish. Not bad but I probably should have had this before I had the Lagunitas Equinox.
