A collaboration with Kew Brewery, this beer is chocolately and robust with deep, layered peppermint aroma and flavours. Lactose affords silky, sweetness that compliments the milky, herbal quality of Perle hops. Willamette introduce subtle spiciness and warmth to the cooler flavours.

Brewdog Clerkenwell. Keg. Almost opaque dark brown beer, a few pale tan bubbles. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, a little lactose like sweetness balances mild roast malt bitterness and a touch of bitter wood. A whisper of dark chocolate. Light semi dry finish. Roasty bitter linger. Mint? Where dat den?

Cask at Cherry Reds, Birmingham, where they printed their own pump clip with a pic of David Bowie and this beer has nothing to do with Bowie at all! Poured a clear reddish dark brown with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is light sweet malt. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich smooth creamy caramel, mint, chocolate, light dry coffee palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation. Awesome.

Keg at The Harp, Trafalgar Square, London. A black coloured pour with a thin beige head on top. Roasty, mint chocolate aroma. Tastes the same, roasty, mint chocolate, slight sweetness. Pleasant enough.

Keg at Brewdog, Clerkenwell, Saturday 13th February 2016 Pours dark brown nearly black maybe with a small tan head. Milky chocolate with some fresh mintiness not unlike a mint chocolate chip ice cream. A little fruity as well but the desired chocolate mint stout definitely works here, a little sweet finished dry, I enjoyed this. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Keg at BD Clerko, 11/02/16. Black with a decent tan swirl. Nose is light roast, lactic pangs, chocolate, earthy fruits. Taste comprises cocoa powder, mint chocolate chip ice cream, light spice, mellow roast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent stout ... welll balanced and nuanced.

Keg at BD Clerko. It pours black with a decent tan head. The nose is soft, bitter - sweet, mint chocolate chip ice cream, fudge, earthy roast, creaminess and coffee grounds. The taste is smooth, bitter - sweet, chocolate, mint chocolate chip ice cream, earth, burnt toast, coffee grounds, rocky road and some peppery spice with a dry, cocoa-mint finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Thought this might be too sweet, but the balance is great. Nice.
