Craft100 fest at Craft Clapham. Almost clear dark brown beer, residual pale tan head. Palate is light and smooth and semi dry. Modest carbonation. Mild dark malts, light tang. Touch of unsweet dark chocolate. Light dry finish. Standard stuff.

Cask at CBR 2014. It pours near black with a small beige head. The nose is roasted malt, cocoa, earth, wood, caramel and wood. The taste is roasted malt, toast, aniseed, earth, varnish, wood and light ash with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Good depth. Pretty tasty.
