Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol, November 2016. Near black with a tight, off-white, head. Aroma of plain chocolate, liquorice and porridge oats. Flavour had sweetish, toasty, malts, more chocolate, and a hint of dark fruit before a moderately dry finish. Good.

Draft at Craft Beer Rising 2014 - London. Pours brown with a frothy, tan head. Good balance, with notes of chocolate, light fruits. Light in body with fine carbonation. Lightly earthy bitterness in the finish, with some further dry cocoa character, toasted bread. Good one.

Bradford Beer Festival. Black with a small head. It’s an easy drinking stout that has more of a porter-like characteristics with some roasted malts and quite a soapy texture and taste.
