Bottle at home, possibly thanks to Jezza, 10/08/19. Clear golden with a decent white cap of bubbles. Nose is light citric peel, grass, airy pale malts, light breads. Taste comprises lemon rind, light floral notes, grains, faint bread, airy malts, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable bitter.

Bottle from Bernie’s Real Ale Off Licence, Shirley. Poured a crystal clear medium to light amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is fresh grassy hop, light toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a light fresh citrus peppermint hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle at Craig’s house. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - floral and light grassy. Taste - custard and green herbs. Palate - light bodied with a creamy yet zingy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - slight wild yeast thing here.

Second beer in my random tasting night on 5th Dec 14. 500ml bottle: BBD 3rd Jan 16. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard: Light golden coloured body, mini-haziness, lovely white crown on top. Crisp, sharp and hop led (as the name suggests) in both the aroma and taste. A bit one dimensional maybe, but a very pleasant beer none the less. Slightly oily texture from the green hops (un-dried in kilns) and although I have had issues with single hopped beers before I really enjoyed this one.
