The Double Oatmeal Stout was a style popular in England during the 19th century. As the name suggests oats are used as a central flavor and we chose to add coffee to strengthen the roasted tones.

Tap @CBC16. Black with small beige head. Roasted, slightly sourish aroma - could be the roast or the coffee. Flavour is sweet, nutty, roasted with coffee. Notes of dark chocolate. Nice.

Tap at CBC ’16. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of oatmeal, chocolate, coffee and caramel. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

CBC2016. Trübes orange braunes Bier mit einer geringen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, nussig. Geschmack nussig, süß röstmalzig, Karamell.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted dark malty. Breadish and chocolate. Dark roasted malty. Lingerinh toasted malty and breadish roasted finish.

Draft @ Malmö Öl & Whisky Festival 2016. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and caramel aroma. Roasted malty chocolate flavor with spicy hints. Has a roasted malty chocolate bitter finish.

Bottle (Uppsala Beer & Whisky Festival 2016) - Black with a tan head. Coffee, salt liquorice and roasted malt in the aroma. Smooth and easy to drink taste with coffee dominating yet not overwhelmingly so. Some notes of plain chocolate and liquorice can also be detected.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of coffee, light malt and caramel. Sweet taste of coffee, caramel and some chocolate. Rather soft and with low carbonation.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Near black, small beige head. Rich aroma of coffee and caramel. Very sweet with full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Lots of caramel, some black pepper and coffee. Mid bitter warming finish. Seemless, but too sweet and caramelly.
