On cask at Chesterfield Alehouse - Golden body with an off white foam. Aromas are biscuit with lemon and sweet apricot. Light mixed tropical fruit with yeast. Flavours are sweet lemon and mango and slightly bitter grapefruit. Not bad.

On cask at the Haymarket Appearance - golden with a nice lacy head. Nose - meadow flowers and fresh lemon. Some green notes a bit like aloe vera. Taste - more aloe vera and then grapefruit. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a good example of the style.

Cask at Haymarket Bar. Pours clear golden-amber, good foamy white head. Aromas of white grapes, light citrus, light pine. Taste has a bit more sweetness, and a decent bitter kick. Enjoyed this.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol, October 2013. Deep gold with a slight, white head. Typically Butcombe solid malts, with some decent tropical fruit character and dryish finish. Good Beer.

Crosse Keys Spoons. Cask. Clear amber beer, no head. Smooth palate, slightly soft with very fine carbonation. Light malt with well buried bitter toffee. Pleasant hop flavours of light grape and floralness. Smooth finish with a mild caronated nibble.

Cask at the Willow Walk, Land of Hope and Gloria, 24/10/13. Clear golden with a thin off white covering that retains well. Nose is juicy hops, light tropcials, bitter orange, grass, toasted malts. Taste comprises tropical fruit sundae, hint of grapefruit, toast malts, light pine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finale with light hop bitterness. Decent GB, 2nd best beer of the 2013 JDW Autumn fest for me, after the Adnams/Stone CDA.

Cask at JDW Charlie Hall: clear amber pour with soapy beige head, fruity aroma, taste is earthy citrus, sweet malts and a hint of grapes.

Cask at the Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 17 October. Poured a clear copper colour with a thin white head and good lacing. Aroma of caramel, floral hops and ripe berries. Grassy hop flavours balanced nicely with chewy malt and a peppery hint. Finishes with lemon zests, caramel and a nice bitter hop edge. Good bitter.
