Cask (gravity) at Smithfield, Derby. Pours a hazy gold with no head whatsoever. The aroma is both sweet and hoppy with lashings of golden syrup. In the mouth it is sweet and juicy but also slightly watery texture. Flavour has grains and honey with some floral hops and traces of grapefruit leading to a slightly dry finish. This is decent though not very exciting.

Handpull cask at the Abbey, Bulwell. Mid-gold, doesn't quite clear. Small white head. White grape, naked malt, some citrus in the aroma. Taste is sweet and juicy but doesn't have that hop bite. A little unexciting. Light chalky body with soft carbonation. Always good to welcome a new brewery into the fold but I'm not feeling this.

5/5/2025. Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Batch 2. Pours almost clear pale straw gold with a small short lasting off-white head. Aroma is grainy, malt, straw, lightly citrus, grapefruit, slightly musty edge. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Soft carbonation. A little thin on the finish and soon became quite lifeless. Very slight fruity tartness to finish. Early days.
