Our biggest IPA to date, hopped generously with Citra and Mosaic. Expect a clean, crisp, hoppy and bitter beer. Waaay too easy to drink.

This is the fourth beer we’ve brewed in collaboration with Burnt Mill, and each beer has been a homage to another that inspired us to do what we’re doing.

Prime Matter is our lager based homage to some of the OG beers of the American North East. Those beers you drink for the first time and wonder how the heck they’re producing such magic. This cold IPA is dank and hoppy but light and moreish. It’s so incredibly balanced, yet a little spicy at 7%. There’s no hop burn or hop fatigue after having one. It’s just perfect.

Can from an unknown location. It pours pretty clear yellow - gold with a small fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, quite clean, grapefruit, green, weedy, dank, gooseberry, white grape and straw. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, clean, pleasing green bitterness, weedy, dank, herbal, peppery spice, grapefruit rind, pomelo, waxy peel, gooseberry, white grape and a nip of alcohol. Average body and fine, prickly carbonation. Like a low key cold IPA version of Heady. Tasty and moreish.

Can from Against The Grain. Pale golden body with a very faint haze and a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of lemon, spearmint and pine. Flavour of grapefruit and lemon. Medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. Ooft, this IPA isn’t messing about; it’s bold and bitter. This tastes like an IPA from the time of the IBU wars.
