Draught@CBC2016. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is crisp bready malts, some rice, plum and a bit toffee tones. Flavour is kind of bready and biscuity along with rice, plum and some slight earthy tones. Smooth and soft to drink.

Hazy golden and copper coloured body with a small, single to perhaps two centimetres tall off-white head. Aroma of plums, rice, grain, sour berries, light yeast and a dose of flowers and perfume. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive grain and alcohol flavours at first with some plum, rice, earth and deeper malts along with some sour berries, yeast and sugar complexities. Aftertaste is fairly well balanced with a nice complexity of fruits, yeast and grain, while also showing sugars and a hint of sourness, mainly from the fruits, but also a touch from the yeast, it seems. Overall, I like what they did with this one and made it complex, yet approachable, and with specialty grains, but with enough ’traditional’ flavours. Good to sample and well worth finding if you like japanese or specialty grain-based beers. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Seattle (Westlake), Washington [State] on 18-February-2016 for US$8,99 sampled at home in [the real] Washington across this fine country on 07-July-2017.

Draught @ CBC 2016 [ Green Session ]. - Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016, Oksnehallen Vesterbro, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 Copenhagen, Denmark. [ As Gigantic Ume Umai ].Light unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt ,fruity malt, rice water, plum. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, sweet malt, rice, plum notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160514] 6-3-7-3-13

650ml bottle. Looks pretty bad, a hazy, off pink brown. Aroma is awful. Acid, and nothing else. Smells like a warm Budweiser, and it was served straight from the fridge. Flavour is better. Still Budweiser like but some plum too. Really not a good beer.

CBC. Amber with small white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, fruity and plum. Flavour is malt, fruit, plum, medium sweet and notes of sourness.

Tap@Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016, Copenhagen - apricot orange coloured pour with thin bubbly white head. Aroma and taste comprises medium sweet malty, fruity and yeasty notes, some rye, spicy hoppy notes, not sure on this.
