Can that Dad picked up from Asda today and shared with dad, Monday 13th October 2925 after a very nice couple of hours in Stockport with Keef Mullin and son Carl. Pours hazy light/mid gold with small white head. Tropical fruit on the nose, some pineapple cubes and a little bit of mango perhaps. Flavour following a similar trajectory with the addition of a little stone fruit, so a touch of peach and unripe apricot. Solid well balanced DIPA, perhaps just a little bit safe but otherwise very pleasant.

Can. Nose is underwhelming. Lightly floral, hint of cream. Taste is floral, leading to apricot, vanilla, creamy, and a touch of citrus. Don;t really understand this beer

Drinking this one on Sandanista Day, celebrating the 1979 Revolution in Nicaragua, today led by double term serving president Daniel Ortega. This Double IPA is kind of a celebration as it's actually a pretty good supermarket exclusive... bucking the trend! I've just had a DIPA previously and this is much better with its sweetish tropical fruitiness more dominant than its strength in taste - a little more levelled up in aroma but always flavoursome.

Can at home picked up from ASDA Watford. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is waxy, paraffin, apricot, juicy. soft wheat. light tangy pineapple. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, loose wheat, tangy orange, peach melba, apricot, . Palate is semi sweet, oily, rounded, highish carbonation. Passable.

440ml can. Semi-hazed gold with modest white foam. Aroma is notably tropical with a subtly underripe pineapple and papaya and a cereal dustiness. Flavour of pineapple, apricot, papaya, pepper, light resin. Decent bitterness. Medium+ bodied, fine carbonation. Well balanced.
The other two Asda collab offerings I've tried so far have been below average fair but this one holds its own nicely.
