Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear light amber with a frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is crispy yeast, light fruity hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a citrus, light grass, big hoppy bitter palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Served cool and it hit the mark. Plenty going on for a Pilsner where the temperature often masks the unpleasant flavours. I’d actually drink this again and for a ticker drinking a Pilsner that’s saying something!

Pale golden color. Cereal nose with noble hops. Mildly hoppy nose. Well balanced, but fairly undistinguished. Very mild finish. Well made, but would be better with a lot more hops.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours gold with a white head. Med body. Flavor is crisply bready. Hop is noble, but this isn’t imperial by a long shot. A very nice drink that won’t interfere with food. Finishes pleasant. Considering the fairly low hop level I was surprised to find myself enjoying it and drinking it all.

A golden pils with a thin white head. A very chalkey and german hops in aroma, veering on commercial lager. In mouth, chalkey crisp malt, similar to a can of German lager. Medium bodied. On tap at Russian River Beer and BBQ Revival, August 15 2009.
