Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy medium brown with a broken white head. The aroma is doughy biscuit malt, yeast, light fruit. The flavour is light bitter sweet with a smooth chewy malt, light tropical fruit, light bitter hop palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. I loved this I must say and I’m no fan of red ales, but I can understand why others might not.

Craft Tottenham Ct Rd. Keg. Murky raspberry red beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry. Good fine carbonation. Smooth dry malts. Mild cherry - raspberry fruits. Maple syrup and a somewhat skewed floralness that I guess must be something the mushrooms bring to the party. The fruit gets a little stronger before the light dry finish. A thougtfull and original beer that I found quite engaging.

Tap at West Coast Brew Fest 2010. This is wild. Pours reddish with a huge foamy beige head. Aromas of celery? and maple syrup. Medium body; mild carbonation. Flavor is maple malt. Veg aspects. Way different. The veg stayed with my mug. Hard to leave it behind. Different but good beer.

Draft. Rich amber beer with a nice cream colored head. Sweet brown sugar, maple, and mollases aroma. Earthy flavor with malt and a light sweetness. Medium bodied. Earthy and maltiness lingers with light maple flavored cotton candy.

A hazy orange amber ale with a thin light moka head. In aroma, dominating maple syrup, with light vanilla fudge. In mouth, interesting maplee cookies, and vanilla notes, lightly oily, medium bodied. On tap at Russian River Beer and BBQ Revival, August 15 2009.
