Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden amber with a big fluffy head. Nose - oranges, light cereal. Taste - more oranges but going into bitter grapefruit. Some hay at the back. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - yeah good golden ale and almost an ipa.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus, Joes and Ansjelaah. Hazy orange color, small off-white head. Aroma is nicely fruity and hoppy. Taste lightly malts, lightly floral, lightly fruity, lightly hops, lightly bitter. A bit thin bodied, average to medium carbonation. Hmm expected it to be better.

330ml bottle, drink-in at Sourced Market, St Pancras. Crystal clear golden coloured body. Stable off-white head. Modest, fresh smell of grassy hops and pale malts. Mild and clean taste of dough, mandarin, and dry fruity hops. Bittersweet ending, lightly spiced. Smooth on the swallow. On an average level (London 14.07.2014).

Bottle from BD online. It pours cloudy golden orange with a small white head. The nose is sweet tangerine, clementine, candied peel, starburst and dough. The taste is bitter-sweet, earthy, doughy, lemon peel, peppery spice, light alcohol, straw and grassy notes with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty alright.

Bottle at home split with Sarah from the brewery. Aroma is sweaty feet, somewhat stale malts, caramel malt, grassy veg hop and some orange. Some alcohol on the nose as well. Bright orange pour with a slight haze and a thin whisp of white head. Flavour is nice grassy orange citrus hops, biscuity malt, slight alcohol bite and assertive grassy bitterness. Later some berry fruit flavours develop. A bit disappointing to be honest. Palate is moderate malt sweetness, grainy and moderate carbonation.

Bottle at home, lightly hazed golden orange with a good size off white head that stays for the show. Nose is grassy, orange pith, soft bread dough, citric peel, light floral notes. Taste comprises orange sherbet, straw, citric peel, light apricot jam, bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with grassy bitterness. Ok golden blonde but not a great by the standards BBN set themselves, in fact this is my joint lowest rated beer (along with another 02/xx series) from them on 36 rates in total! But 36 beers and a lowest rating of 3.3 is testament to these guys !
