A smooth, golden-coloured beer with restrained bitterness and malt character to balance the hops. Two US hops, Summit & Nugget, lend this beer light floral, herbal and citrus flavours and aromas.

Very hazy gold beer, tidfy off white head. Palate is light with fine carbonation. Thin malt. Tangy ripe orange hops, touch of lemon. Light finish, mild bitter linger. It’s okay but feel a bit tired and sluggish.

Keg at Brewdog AGM 2014. Pours hazy gold, thin white head. Aromas of resinous hops, earthy, orange. Taste is bitter orange. Finish a tad cloying, but otherwise a nice beer.

On tap at the brewery. Hazy amber colour lasting off white head. And then Bob Dylan Hard Rain Gonna Fall came on the stereo in the brewery. God I’m happy. Earthy summit led golden ale. Well carbonated. Earthy and distinctive. Good beer. Live the character. It’s not perfect but I do like the flavours. Likeable in a quirky way.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the brewery. Pours unclear, rich orange-gold with a thick, frothy white head. The aroma holds a bit of tangerine, some orange meringue, slight doughy pale bread, mild sweat. Light to medium sweet flavor with restrained juicy citrus, understated pale bready sugars, hints of lemony tang and underripe tangerine, subtle pine needle bitterness. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation and a velvety mouthfeel. Great balance to finish with nicely rounded citrusy hops, more pale bread, mild bitterness, some further tangerine, background grass and pine needles. Exceptionally drinkable. Wonderful beer.
