Half-pint, cask ale, shared with Finn at PR1 Bar in Preston. Clingy lacing from a stable, off-white head. Clear copper coloured body. Light dark doughy aromas. Brown malty flavours, caramel and toffee, followed by a bittersweet tail. Quite alright Brit bitter. (05.02.2019).

Bottle from Barrica Wines Botany Bay, Chorley. BBE NOV17, so bear that in mind. Aromas of toffee apples. Taste is better, sweet, honey. Needs a bit of biscuit and bitterness to balance it out.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Cask. Almost clear amber beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth and sweetish malts, some caramel. Good orange squash, quite bright. Unexpected touch of ripe tropical fruits. Light semi dry finish. Good beery fun!
