Half pint from the cask at Leicester Indie Beer Festival, Thursday 26 June 2025. Pours copper brown with a white head. Aromas & tastes of toffee, liquorice, dark fruits, hints of spice & malt. Medium body. Light bitter finish.

Half-pint, cask ale, shared with Finn at PR1 Bar in Preston. Clingy lacing from a stable, off-white head. Clear copper coloured body. Light dark doughy aromas. Brown malty flavours, caramel and toffee, followed by a bittersweet tail. Quite alright Brit bitter. (05.02.2019).

På PR1. Delt med Rune. Dyprød. Tett filmskum med litt farge. Tykk teppelacing. Forsiktig nøttearoma. Smaken mørke frukter & nøtter. Innholdsrik.

Bottle from Barrica Wines Botany Bay, Chorley. BBE NOV17, so bear that in mind. Aromas of toffee apples. Taste is better, sweet, honey. Needs a bit of biscuit and bitterness to balance it out.

5th July 2017
Chelmsford Beer Festival. Cask. Almost clear amber beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth and sweetish malts, some caramel. Good orange squash, quite bright. Unexpected touch of ripe tropical fruits. Light semi dry finish. Good beery fun!

Pendle Beer Festival 2015. Amber-brown with a small head. It’s a sweetened bitter with a small bitterness.

Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is citrus malt. The flavour is moderate bitter with a woody resin hop citrus palate and a light toothpaste bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at Birmingham Beer Festival; clear amber pour with a thin tan head, green hop aroma, taste has citrus, biscuity malts and a bitter finish.
