One of our favourite childhood video games brought to life in a beer! Zool is packed full of Simcoe and Centennial giving it an aromatic citrus note which is picked up and amplified in the flavour.

Cask, half pint, at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden. Bright golden coloured body topped by a tiny white head. Fair lacing. Fruity smell with lemon and pineapples. Juice fruity taste, including moments of lemon and orange, semi-sweet, leading to a pleasant bitter ending. Paired fine with the burger. Pleasing (London 24.09.2014).

Cask at the Pure bar and Kitchen, Birmingham. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is big woody resin hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a pine needle, grass, citrus fruit hop, light yeast palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

On cask @ the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - golden with a slight haze and a generous creamy head. Nose - lots of grapefruit and lime. Taste - grapefruit confirmed and with a creamy backdrop. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - nice refreshing pint and fairly balanced.

Cask-conditioned at the Beer Emporium, Bristol 12/9/2014. Deep gold, with a decent, white, head. Aroma of tangerines and stone fruits, with a whiff of grassy hop. Flavour had some cereal mlats, more, sweetish, fruit and culminated in a decent, bitter, finish. Good.

Craft Covent Garden. Cask. Clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and semi dry. Moderate fine carbonation. Smooth malt base, little dry. Hops are nice and orangey and well behaved but do bring some hop spice. Whispers of lemon and tangerine. Light dry finish. Hoppy linger. Satisfying.

Two hand-pulled pints (from a fresh cask) on the opening night of the newly refurbished Pheasant, Wellington, Shropshire on 1st May 2014. Amber and clear body, hoppy and bitter, crisp and refreshing. Enough going on to make me have two pints, so it must be good!

Cask (Ivy House, Sunderland) - Amber with a white head. Pine, toffee, grapefruit and grapes in the aroma. Peach, toffee and gooseberries feature in the taste. Quite nice.
