Brewed with a blend of malts, the rye malt gives this beer a sweet, full flavour, nicely balanced by the fruity/citric notes of the American hops.

Cask @ Square Bottle, Chester [030417]
Golden, clear, dense white head
Aroma of soft citrus zest, hint of lemon, soft sweet pale malt
Taste of bitter zest, some bitter minerals, pale malt background, bitter hoppy, spicy rye in there
Palate - Dry, soft texture, very bitter. Finish of very bitter zest, minerals, spicy, astringent at first
Overall - Over aggressive for me

Tried T the Forum, Lincoln. Aroma has fruit and caramel. Taste and flavour are a typical bitter. I didn’t get the rye.

Cask @ Microbar, Manchester. Clear gold with a creamy head. Has a malt-hop balance, both are evident - the result is a medium bitterness ale that’s medium-full bodied. Good but not quite session material.

Craft Tottenham Ct Rd. Cask. Clear gold beer, small bubbly white head. Palate is light and dry. Mild fine carbonation. Dry pale malts, some raw grain. Very mild orangey hops also bring modest bitterness. Light dry finish. Not great and didn’t want to drink more than quarter of a pint.

Poured a crystal clear medium amber with fruity caramel malt aroma. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth malt, light yeast, big hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
