Cask at the Walsall CAMRA Beer Festival 2014. Poured a hazy straw colour with a thin broken whispy white head. The aroma is malt fruit light barnyard. The flavour is medium to light bitter with a very watery fruit light hop bitter palate and a short bitter finish. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Not the best from Summer Wine. It’s like a beer that lost its way.

Craft Clerkenwell. Cask. Lightly hazy pale gold beer, few white bubbles for a head. Palate is smooth and light with very fine carbonation keeping it alive. Light pale malt, clean and fresh. Nicely balanced mellow hops. Mild lemon and some floral flavours. Very easy going grapefruit and a touch of tangerine. Finishes light and dry. Light and tasty.

Cask-conditioned at the Beer Emporium, Bristol 27/2/2014. Golden with a slight, white head. Big, mango, gooseberry and pineapple character, with some pine, crsp malts and dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Cask at the Lyric, Soho. It pours pale golden with a small white head. The nose pine needles, urine, grapefruit, soft fruits and honeysuckle. The taste is crisp, bitter, lemon peel, grapefruit, pine, straw, touch of pepper and light underlying sweetness with a dry finish. Light-medium body and fine carbonation. On the face of it quite straight-forward, but it is rather balanced and very well executed. Nice session action.

Cask at the Lyric - Soho, London. Poura clear yellow with a frothy, white head. Lovely aroma with notes grapefruit, piss, melon and lemon. Light sweet flavor with superlative balance, lots of pithy citrus hops, grapefruit, melon, faint sticky pine, just enough pale malt sweetness. Light bodied with fine carbonation; great condition. Further pithy, drying citrus fruits to finish, mild urine, simple pale malt structure. Excellent.
